A few links on things I've written or published. Nothing spectacular, but hopefully helpful to others.
Some things I've written just for fun...
- Time Manager for the HP-41C series calculator, designed to help in time billing or other time tracking activities
- True Heading and Ground Speed calculations for navigation, which may be used with almost any HP calculator (code for HP-29C, HP-15C, HP-41C and HP-48 included)
- Equation of Line Given Two Points is useful for interpolating with calculators (like the HP-41C and HP-29C) which don't directly support linear regression
- AWK Translator for Keycodes of those older machines, like the HP-29C
- On the Eve of My 2^14 Birthday was a tongue-in-cheek article I wrote when I realized I was spending way too much time with these old calculators...
I also wrote some things which ended up in the affiliated Linux Journal, and there were also follow-ups to these which I've not included here.
- Floppy Disk Tips was something I wrote when I noticed that many newcomers to Linux (and Unix) were having trouble with floppy disks
- Spare Cycles Needed for Promoting Linux was something I wrote when I initially got interested in distributed computing
